Well...looks like I'm getting a bit of a runaround. My trainer texted me that he was first to pick up a load of glass for Ft. Worth. He was going to let me know when to meet him on Saturday. Late friday I still had not heard from him so I texted and asked when to mert him. He said he was on his way to Wisconsin. According to him the Texas load got cancelled and he now has no idea when he will be here to pick me up. I graduated on the 20th. I was suppossed to be picked up on the 1st. Now I'm five days behind and with this weather it may well be another week. I'm starting to wonder if I should ask for a Texas based trainer or if a run around like this is normal.

Thing is I'm willing to drive a rental up to 1000 miles to meet him if they would just communicate with me.

Hang in there Stevenneill. Hopefully you'll get going soon!

Yeah...I hope so. Meanwhile I am just sitting here spinning my wheels making no money and going further in debt. Latest word is that he is in Wisconsin and his truck won't regenerate so no telling when he will move again.

That's got to be frustrating as heck!

Update: I finally got tired of the run around so I sent a rather extensive email to Ellan explaining my problems with getting started. After sending an email she called me within 30 minutes. We talked about my frustration and she told me she would fix it. Within another 15 minutes she called me back. They had reassigned me to a new trainer a man named Mark who was just 30 minutes outside of Fort Worth. Ten minutes later I was on the phone with my new trainer. He said he would contact me after dropping his load. An hour later he called me again. We meet at the Burleson Terminal at 7:30 in the morning and leave to pick up the first load as a driver.
