I'm in Jackson. ten trying to pickup early and they are not ready. no snow but I had my fill of podunk city streets to get into the place. had to make some decisions today.

 

Im in Toledo heading to jackson mi and Ohio is level 3 and they don't want anybody on the roads unless it's a emergency. That's dispatch for you right there, go pick it up yada yada yada. Then you'll shut down in oh, In,or il. Retarded. I usually do drive in hazardous weather but this time staying parked til tomorrow.

 

find it interesting the dispatch is trying to get you guys to drive with the whole area shut down....

Well, it was phrased, "CS would like to know" So I let them know it was unsafe. No word from FMs yet as to reschedule or if they are waiting on intel from me.

And yesterday, I saw a little surprise on my Paycheck a 2 cent raise, which is enough to pay for the benefits I've elected

 

At shipper for the night. Supposed to pick up tomorrow, but they do have overnight parking. Place is packed though. Probably the storm backing everything up. I was able to parallel squeeze into a corner out of the way. Deliver Chicago Wednesday morning. So at least I can wait another day for them to clear up Indiana and Illinois roads. Should be ok by tomorrow.

 

FM called me back and said not to worry about rushing home. So it looks like we will probably stay in Traverse City an extra day.
