Transplace good or bad broker

    Just called Transplace on this load from frozen roads every where in Cherry Hill NJ to Smyrna GA approx 800 mils run full load 42k. Market today looks to be very strong for this area. The market opened up with 46.09 posts/ minute and the total current posting is showing approx 3500 posted loads in the 150 radius with 3.6 loads/truck ratio. I asked for Tyler Vanlanding ext 1647 and they would not connect me to the intended person and said the load pays whopping $1000. Wow by the way who is working for them and how is he able to survive ???

    I have done alright in my dealings with this company in the past, but @1.30 a mile on this load seems a little light to me!

    From what I know Transplace was started by Harold Ives Trucking out of Stuttgart, Ar. and Harold Ives was bought out by Covenant some years ago!
    Don't know who the parent is now.
