Ive been thinking about buying one of the trucks they have here and was pricing them. $1000 per light. Lol. It's expensive. They'll come down in price at some point, but Freightliner quoted me that.

While in training you are guaranteed a minimum of $600.00 per week. When you and your trainer pass a specific mileage threshold each week you have the opportunity to earn an additional .12 per mile.

That is what I have been looking for, but do I have to be a Flease Op? Or can I be an outside truck and just do the Light Deal? Thanks!

First off, are you sure your current headlights are aimed correctly?
Many company trucks I've been in have headlights aimed either too low, off horizontally, and/or not parallel, thus making them only put about 50% (or less) light where it needs to be.

And no, I'm not talking about needing to aim them so high as to spot mountain elk.;)
Just saying that sometimes a proper aiming will make a world of difference.
It did for me, many times.

    zincman and blairandgretchen Thank this.

That is a good point. My lease truck at Prime was a brand new 2013 Cascadia. Oncoming drivers kept flashing their brights at me as if I had mine on. Come to find out the headlights were aimed too high. After a quick adjustment they worked perfectly and drivers stopped flashing their brights at me.

On a side note; eye strain is in regard to the lack of light. Not its wavelength, the sun produces all spectrum of wavelengths, your average headlight it throwing out between 500-800 NM (Mostly yellow/orange/red). Those LED headlights do a pretty good job of producing anywhere between 300-900 NM (UV/violet/blue/green/yellow/orange/red) but no amount of spectrum combinations will reduce eye strain in a low light environment when you only have a few thousand lumen spread out over 50 sq feet.

Could you please put that into layman's English for me? Thanks!
