The wages of trucking could not have possibly gotten any worse unless they figured out how to get drivers to pay them to drive their truck, which indeed they have accomplished.

LP deals have been around since the B MODEL MACKS , lot of small outfits would by 5 trucks and then get a driver to purchase 1 as a drive to own deal

Yep FLATBED your are right on the lease purchases.

Willis Shaw out of Elm Springs had them as early as 1975.
You could get a skunk truck with a $1000 down.

So OOIDA WHAT IS YOUR SOLUTION? A CIMPANY DRIVER CANT MAKE AND SAVE ENOUGH FOR A Downpayment emergency fund anf maintenance fund and have great credit.? Its just not possible. Unless the driver saves until too old to drive anymore. Not like its the 70's when we nade the same money but everything cost a third less than now.
