Well, spoke too soon on the breakdown issue but it turned out to be pretty minor. We had intermittent power loss and fault codes flashing on and off. Acted like a wiring issue. Dropped the truck off at Kenworth NW since they can work on Cummins engines. Turned out it was a sensor and wiring harness. I have only driven it 20 miles from the shop but it sure seems like it is fixed. I hope all breakdowns are this easy and cheap (yeah, right). Our second Christmas was a blast and Anne discovered she loves Canasta, Easy to love a game when you have not lost yet. My family are card fanatics. We need to get out of Seattle soon as I do not think we can fit one more Seahawks shirt or sweatshirt in the truck. Anne buys a few everytime she goes out. She is set, I am set, the kids are set and the grandkids are set for a Super Bowl run. lol.
My Seattle freight source has a load for us tomorrow (Friday) heading to the South East. Weather looks good so ready to roll. Good to get Anne up to Seattle for the dreary winter because it is easy to forget, in August, what this place is like 8 months a year.

Ya know, if you just switch to STEELERS shirts and gear, you could probably fit a lot more in the truck! Problem solved! You're welcome!!

lol, Not only that, but Steelers gear is probably very cheap right now. I guess I could use some polishing rags for the truck.Pound Puppy, milskired, Jarhed1964 and 2 others Thank this.

We are averaging 7.98 miles to the gallon on this new engine. No joke, the mpg increase will pay for the engine in a year. Very happy.
On the sucky note, we are shut down in this storm in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Pretty much white out conditions. 8 PM and EVERYTHING but the truckstops are closed, all of the restaurants and even Walmart. When the State of Illinois announced they were pulling all of their snow plows of the road for safety I decided to pull the plug also. -
Nonocraig r happy at f2f what r the benefits n downfalls just shoot straight w me. Me n my dad run a team n were leased on to a good small company now but we run off load boards. Would f2f be a good company for us to go to. With better freight opportunities n all. I like straight up folks n can't stand to be misled r lied to. Could I expect that.

I thought I had replied to you earlier. This is a great small company with awesome people. We run off load boards also so I would not expect a difference in the freight other than we have a great reputation. Why would you be looking to leave a company you call "good" now? Does not make a lot of sense to me.
