It's unlikely any of us would be at the same place at the same time, although it does seem to happen from time to time.
In 3 years I have yet to meet up with my old mentor, even though we are both Swifties and run basically the same lanes.
But all it takes is an hour or two difference in timing from stopping at this place or that.
A better solution to meeting other forum members might be to say where and when you will be stopping at your next rest break.
That at least gives some room for planning if the time is available.
For instance, I'll be in Fergus Falls, MN tomorrow night.
No listed truck stops there, so I'm not sure exactly where I can park. But I'll be out of hours when I get there, so...
Hopefully there is a Walmart nearby.TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Just for info.
The walmart has truck parking and there is a truck stop several miles east. Big chief I think.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
I think a small TTR decal would be nice. I could put it next to my East Coast Large Car decal.
Big Don, D.Tibbitt, wore out and 1 other person Thank this. -
TA in Terrell, TX. Parked in the way back from all the idlers.....

Good idea on the TTR decal! No, it wasn't Injun. And my mind (which has been going for a long time,) can't come up with her name right now. She was a swiftie, (I think. . .) and teamed with her hubby at least part of the time. . .Can't remember that name right now though. . .
SheepDog Thanks this. -
Texas Nana? I don't remember this story, but she could make an irate Injun seem as sweet as Little Miss Buttercup.

now that is trip planning at its best -
It's not planning, it's my destination after 2 other stops.
The planning was tonight.
I stopped a bit short so I could avoid the evening rush hour traffic in St. Paul, MN.
I'll start earlier tomorrow morning, but I shouldn't have heavy traffic to slow me down.
That also means I'll burn more hours tomorrow, so I'll be nearly out of hours when I get finished unloading at my destination.
We can't always plan everything. Sometimes we just have to hope it works to our advantage. -
WCP and Otter are in my area from time to time, I just never know when or I would meet up with them.
