I had the same problem with my new computer.
I upgraded it to Windows 8.1 and everything went haywire.
Had to re-install the original OS to make it work again.
Good night from...

Well, that would explain a lot ... KW is running Micro Soft ... lol

At a Walmart in Philadelphia. We made our delivery to the TJ Maxx DC and now need to wait until Fontana's day crew gets in before we receive the next leg of our journey. My partner's been on this going on three years and he said it's pretty rare to sit and wait for a new plan. It's a nice and balmy 29 degrees here.

If it ain't broke... don't 'fix' it.
I think we have to be careful about what we 'upgrade'.
The upgrades are meant to solve problems that some of us have, but maybe we should not apply the patch if we are not experiencing the problems.
I've run into this problem when I was a computer tech.
Some computers have a problem that is fixed by a patch because they have a single component that is different than the same model of a different production run, because a single chip was replaced with something similar.
But the patch was not compatible with the previous (or next) chip.

yep I have had a computer crash after some updates before, these days I completely turn off automatic updates and once in awhile I might go through to see what the updates are and if I want them, I normally will upgrade hardware drivers but from the manufactures websites such as nvidia etc.
Today was an easy day, took a load to Riverbank near Modesto and then they sent me to conagra to swap my mt for an mt there then when I got back to the dc they had me drop it in a repair row and red tag it, dont know if there is something wrong with it or its just time for its inspection and service, I didnt find anything wrong at least.
Tomorrow I go to Turlok then get a backhaul from general mills.
Side note I saw the next check performance pay comes in, mine is hardly more than the last, I also saw my ranking now is "none" I guess dedicated you dont get on the ranking system for a bonus? -
That's right, dedicated means no ranking and no bonus. Are you getting short haul differential pay, or just flat rate per mile, the same for all miles?
Target dedicated out of DFW area pays about 47 or 48 CPM...they pull the reefers though if that makes a difference. -
im paid by dispatch mile and its a scale from 37cpm to 52cpm, im averaging 46cpm and I get an extra $10 when I pick up a backhaul which also splits the dispatch for the higher cpm. So 0-50 miles is 52cpm, 51-100 is 51cpm 100-150 50cpm etc and if I run a load thats 300+ miles round trip its 37cpm unless its a backhaul or sweep which then splits it so I would get 150 mile rate for the whole thing if that makes sense. When I left otr I was at only 30cpm so even for the lowest rate im making out much better dedicated, my checks have been averaging $900-$1200 a week
inkeper Thanks this. -
Sitting in Memphis for my B-service. They wouldn't do it at the last terminal at 37k, so now I risk losing my next load if they find any problems.
Has my last stop reject two pallets as "out of date", even though the expiration date is March 2105. Got there at 5:30 AM; it was after 6 PM when they finally figured out what to do with it. -
Still in Goodyear. KW called me this afternoon, and they are finding some issues. Cummins has them looking at the DPF and the EGR since it is showing codes. Even showing some check engine codes, and I was just not getting them. Well, at least until tomorrow some time, depending on what they finally find.
inkeper Thanks this.
