Ran local and did great. But this time of year dictates I run south. The plan was always to run local till the 1st of the year, then head south till end of Feb. then go back home. No point in running local and being off on the weekends if all I get to do is sit on the couch because it's below 0 out and snowing like a mo-fo.
And Cluck will do fine in Houston. I'm seeing some really good rates out of there. My load to Savanah was over $3 mile, and stuff up to IL is showing about $2.50 right now -
As for me, I'm at Carls Corner tonight. Unloaded in Arlington and got a call to move a crate from the airport to Round Rock. Pay is great and I made it from Irving on 630 to here in about 90 min at 4pm .... I was amazed as well.

Well got to the customer Thurs morning. Oh not quite ready for you yet. Ok. Then I see them clearing out the far driveway..Getting backed in was not to easy, but do able.
Then I'm too long for their bay. No problem drop the trl and leave trk. outside.
Now getting out was the neat part as I could not make a right and drive out. Oh no, have to pull out angle left hard right. Then back the trl blind side and keep working it. They were nice and help, just too much stuff in the yard.
So this morning I go back and find out the trl lights decided to quit working or they would just all start flashing then quit. Road service comes out and he says bad plug. Ok. Opps wrong plug. back he goes. Still not working after the plug install.
So we get the unit over to the T/A here in Lodi, Oh. 6 hours of him chasing down 3 bad light plugs and one light cord on the trl. I finally got working lights.
They worked greeat when I picked up the trl. Sunday and coming up here mty. But after I ld. and it warmed up they quit. Back fed into my circuit board and blew out a breaker..
Made it a whooping 20 miles today.Cluck Cluck Thanks this. -

LS pays their lease Driver great, But they take 30% or so. So when you do the math it comes out less than what you think.
