    As an American, most of us cannot understand insurance, and have a hard time "respecting it"! ;)
    I just hope he has the proper insurance, and he is well covered for the damages.
    He will be responsible for paying whatever deductible amount he has chosen, on his insurance policy.

    you cant do much besides tell your insurance company what happened because the lack of evidence. It happened to me once in NC, a truck backed into my grill cracking the whole front, the radiator, CAC, and fan were all destroyed. whether or not the insurance company pays for the damage is something that falls under the coverage you have on the truck, do you have liability only or full coverage?

    Check with the facility and see if there is a video record. They may be able to piece together the identity of the runaway.

    yes,we bought full coverage,our deductible is 1000.But it is really unfair and unlucky.In a parking lot ,then loose at least 1000,and one week cannot run the truck.

    cause brand new truck,we chose full coverage.but if as the internet said,the guy hit and run,we may only get 70% insurance.The left is a lot of money.We feel really so unfair and unlucky.Even at least one week he has to stay in Yuma.The parts need serval days to ship.

    lol,you are funny.I have a sister who is married.
    And it is not easy to marry a foreigner.Language,culture difference,visa,these are big problems.
    We tried serval months,but we still cannot get visa to let me enter USA to marry him.
    This is why I wrote forum here,I want to try my best to help him a little.
