LA in my post was Los Angeles area. 7 day haul you would think that when my dispatcher sent the load to me and I only had 11 hours on the 70. Then only a total of 8 hours coming off in the next two days. I got to get this thing to the market while there's still some moo in them boxes. 7 days there won't be no moooooness left. Yeee hawwww!!!

PS. If anybody know of a parking area or truck stop around Vail,CO Halla back at me. I would hate to cut my trip short due to no parking, but from what I seen I may have to stop at the TA on 70. Also if there is something between Vail and loveland pass. Wouldn't mind knocking out one of those big mountains before the day is done. we back quiet. West bound and Down!!!!!

Yeah that's what I was thinking as well, but my company has these fuel solutions and I have to fill up at the TA on 70. Asked them earlier if I could drop down to 40 since the weather map was showing pink stuff in Iowa. They said it was 2 far out of route. So didn't bother asking them about 80. Funny thing is they tell us to use the Navigo and that has me routed from 80 to 15, but the fuel route is 76-70. So just going to follow the orders and see where I end up.

I'm parked at the house. Hoping to be ending this week with my current carrier and leasing to a new one. New year, new opportunity and all that jazz.

there are small rest areas along 70 just west of vail
most of them off an exit

going down 25 to 40 adds 200 miles
but if you cut across KS it only adds 75

No I was going to go down 55,44, to 40. It was just 100 miles out of route. I know the 80 was just about 50 miles out of route. Going to keep an eye on the weather if its going to get nasty I'm going to stay on 80.

Good morning/Afternoon PJ :) Yeah I decided to take the 50 miles out of route and the 1 to 3 inches of snow. Rather then the shorter computer generated route and the 3 to 5 inches of snow. Being a Chain up Charlie is not in my repertoire for a Sunday Morning!! We have Rawlins in the cross hairs for tonight, but I heard those winds are pretty rough today. Man this Volvo parked next to me sure is Rockin. I bet not come a knockin. Just hope its a male and female doing that deal. But hey this is broke back mountain country. We back quiet.
