SEAT ?

I've got a legacy gold grey leather and absolutely love it. It's the best thing my ### sits on other then my couch at home!!

After getting my ISRI seat I will NEVER spend money on them one size fits all seats again getting a ajustable damper (shock) is a must, they just cann't make a shock to control the bounce of a 175 pound driver vesres a 300 pound plus driver with out short changing someone.
I think Bostrum has a ajustable shock call the motion master.
I cannt not understand why anyone would want memory foam in a seat cushion? I want my seat to forget my but prints in it after I am done driveing.

 

Regarding spending $6000 for the seat.

I'm not trying to start an argument here, but, some would say, spending $6000 on chrome which provides to the truck other than looks is also a bit stupid. So, I think something that would allow my back to not get messed up after years of driving and something that could prevent hemorrhoids, is a plus.. LOL.

If this was going to be a life long career, then I'd buy the seat.

 

You can get bottom suspension from Motion Master and then you have a seat like Bose makes for a lot cheaper. Have Motion master setup on farm tractors and they are awesome and give no problems.

 

That's awesome. I'm not saying Bose (COST) is necessarily the way to go, but, making a more comfortable ride to me is key to not being so frustrated at the end of the day. Also, Changing shocks on the tractor can also make the ride a little better. (Outside of the seat issue) Roadking Shock are suppose to make another awesome product.

 

I have been thinking about giving a try for RoadKings.... may do it sometime...

 

Very personal decision. Rare is the dealer that even has a display, much less multiple brands/models set up with air for test. If at all possible go to Mid America truck show in March Louisville and try them all and order the exact seat. Your ### will thank you every day.
We spend more time there than anywhere. And get a comfy mattress at the same time.

 

I would say, and I may be saying more than I need to, that the seat and the mattress are the two most important items a driver could buy,,,outside the parts necessary to keep the truck making money, of course.

What about the Knoedler? anyone have those? you have the option of buying real leather for an extra $300
