Loves in Oak Creek, next to a Roehl flatbed.
My next dispatch got messed up. Good thing I called to see if it was loaded and ready to pick up early because it's sitting at a different facility over 300 miles away. Called the driver line and was told to head to truck stop near shipper (original location). Then they cancelled it. So I came here to wait for a new deal.
Now they have me on a relay from here to home.

Ok yeah i like winter and all but today sucked. 5 and half hours from marshfield to Shakopee mn to get my load. Should of only been 3 hours, if it wasnt for weather i would of got my first drop done today than my second drop tomorrow. Ah well would of been ahead of schedule but mother nature sad you cant be early.
At least looking like no snow tomorrow so i can try to get ahead of schedule again. If i can get myself ahead of schedule i may get home before noon on friday if not than it will be evening.
Sitting at a Kwik trip in southern MN for the night.Bayle Thanks this. -

How do y'all like driving for Roehl? I put my application in today for the Texas Regional Dry Van.

It has its ups and downs. Overall i enjoy my time at Roehl. At this point only thing that would get me to leave is a home every night driving job.MachoCyclone Thanks this.

TA @ Seymour, IN. Deliver to downtown Chicago tomorrow at noon.

They have a lot of options. Flatbed, van, refrigerated. Regional, national, local, dedicated. Hometime 7/7, 14/7, 7/3-7/4. Or national 11-14 out and 3 days home.
As far as companies go, they're pretty decent. I've never had a problem with maintenance. And they have a pretty good safety record.
A little micro managy on some things but overall pretty fair.MachoCyclone Thanks this. -
Launched out a day early. Not thrilled about it, because I have a nasty cold. Was told they owed me an extra day next time. Relayed a load to Gary, now sitting in Kankakee loading to go to Plano. Wind is crazy. Opened up the trailer door and it almost broke my arm. Wind caught it and dang near knocked me right to the ground. Be careful people!

I gotta get me one of those Plano loads. Haven't been to TX in a while and my BBQ craving is in high gear.
