say what ya want, i mean i'm not a fanboy of them really either. BUT, do you realize just how many people are employed because of walmart? not just their company drivers or the greaters ya see at the store. all those that work at those walmart and sams dc's? thats a boat load of folks. and what @ all of us non walmart drivers? in the last month i've pulled prob 20 loads to and from their dcs. so in essence as much as i don't like to shop there, they wrote my paycheck.
as for the made in china thing, besides not pulling a load for target, sears, etc, i'm guessing you'd refuse loads for home depot or lowes seeing as they bring in a boat load of stuff from mexico. nearly 500 billion worth of trade between the US and mexico last year. I'll be glad to take my slice of that. -
These guys in here want to discuss working for Walmart, so please let them do it without interfering. Thanks.NYVET, Boy Howdey and Extreme4x4 Thank this. -
HalPinUout. Walmart looks at more then just your driving record or work history. During your interviews they will also look at how you dress, present yourself, and attitude. Maybe one or more of these could be keeping you from working at Walmart.
To the driver whining that Walmart drivers will pass him going up a hill when he is loaded and then they have to pass them going down the hill or on flat ground. Your solutions is for Walmart drivers to stay behind you when your going 25 mph up a hill. Maybe it's the same reason why you don't stay behind the Walmart on flat ground or downhill so that your not in the way of the faster truck going up hill. That would be the professional thing to do.
To all of you drivers that see a Walmart driver driving in a unsafe manner, please report them with a tractor number if possible, trailer number will work as will. Even report the drivers pulling Walmart trailers because the general public only sees the big work "Walmart" on the side and thinks it is a Walmart driver in the tractor and Walmart will contact the company and pull that driver from their list of outside carriers. -

It's not true you can apply we're ever you live, but you have to make arrangement to transfer over to the DC you get hire from.If you are in driving distance you can do it once a week.i have grossed from $1700 to 2100 a week since I been their, they do pay bi-weekly just do the math it sure beats any OTR job.
