The company I work for also uses the drive cam to monitor speed violations. They use a "reliable" national speed limit database to match your speed with that of the database. If you exceed the speed limit, it registers it and sends the incident to the carrier. I got a call from safety for driving 1 mph over speed limit while driving through hilly stretch of highway. I have now been disqualified from receiving my quarterly safety bonus. I can see how these cams will pay for them self.

Got my camera installed this week. Takes some tiime to get use to. I keep thinking someone is watching me all the time. Maybe I will get use to it soon.
