LoL If my memory would work I would do the app now since I am waiting to be reloaded but think the years of driving has made me partially brain dead at times.
Thanks Terry I will do. I am sure I will have some questions pop up at some time. Will have to remember how to be a L/O since it's been a little while since I have been an O/O. LoL -
Understood lol. It's the guys with no questions that I worry about.
-
Well thanks to Sharrp, you, and the other drivers my questions have been limited. But the one I do have is when you all do your loads do you get directions for shipper/consignee or do they give you a phone # and let you call for them. I'm one of them drivers that DO NOT trust GPS units. LoL
-
we have directions for 80-90 percent available off the Qualcomm, some will list OPA or nopa for overnight parking or no overnight parking. Also staying in touch with drivers like us, we share any info we have near a customer to be able to park and not start your log book.

Coming from someone thinking about working for JCT, I have a question for those who have been there for a while. After all is said and done, after all expenditures have been paid and or accounted for. What is your profit at the end of the year?
-
I'm sure that varies dramatically from person to person but for me after truck costs (fuel, payment, insurance washes etc.) I deposited a total 49.2 k into my bank. I'm sure some did better and some worse. From May to November I end up with a substantial amount of time off between home time and truck shows. That income is solely on truck revenue not including any recruiting referral money.
-
[Not to get terribly personal, but, approx how much of the 49.2 was classified "drivers salary"...?
Thanks. 100 percent is paid to the truck. I have it deposited 30/70 between my business acct and personal acct. I use the personal acct for household bills and personal expenses who pile the business acct covers my taxes, retirement and health insurance.
