Not true at all. Once you get time back you are legal. You will not be placed oos for 34 hours.
If you were placed oos DOT will let you know. But there is absolutely no law saying it's an automatic 34 hour restart. That's hogwash.

What the heck does this have to do with anything here? Nobody is questioning that DOT can place you out of service.
