LOL. I had my boots in the door under bunk and that door NEVER opens but I noticed it opened after crossing a set of MEAN train tracks(slowed down and the whole nine yards) and saw door flapping so I stopped when possible and noticed boot was no where to be found. Went back a few hours later in 4 wheeler and couldn't see anything unfortunately!

I'll go take a look at some boots this weekend hopefully. Thanks guys!!

Red Wings. Best work boots I've ever bought. They're not cheap, but one pair of them will outlast many cheap pairs.

I have always worn good cowboy boots. I've wore Arriat Sedonas since they came out. For now I'm wearing a pair of Double H's with the oil resistant sole. I've never fell, and no one ever gave me any trouble even the ones that require safety vest and goggles.

I have a really fat foot(always had custom made skates for hockey..) and I've yet to find a pair of cowboy boots to fit me nicely. I would imagine a few spots I load up at would give me the stink eye about not having steel toe unfortunately.

    TwinStickPeterbilt Thanks this.

You can't go wrong with Red Wings. I used to wear the cheap ones thinking that a boot is a boot, and at the end of the day my feet hurt so bad I didn't want to even get out of the truck to walk to my car. Now my co. requires us to have metatarsal guards, and Red Wing has an internal metatarsal that is super flexible but hardens on impact to protect the foot. I can't even tell they're there. A little pricey, but worth it for the comfort alone. They hold up well too. My old boots are still in good enough shape that I keep them around for a spare.

I have been wearing these for years. Steel toe is pointless (unless some desk jockey from corporate requires it). I wore these when I hauled fuel, they were soaked in diesel a few times and never broke down. Great wet traction, they dry quickly and are inexpensive considering they will last a decade for someone who probably walks less than a mile a day.

I used to be all about RedWing, then moved to Carolina as their a lot cheaper and their are the SAME boots! (I'm convinced RedWing is making them or Carolina would have been sued by now) My current Favorite of all time is now Thorogood. They have all of Red Wings quality, MORE comfortable, a little cheaper AND their made in the USA.
