Yeah he drove in the military for 10 or 12 years before coming to Central. If any of you run into him tell then his class mate From Sac. said hello.

My favorite Swift story is also my favorite Qualcomm story:

Fueling up next to a Swift driver. He's stomping around, slamming things as he's fueling. He types something into his qualcomm and sees me watching him. "They better not screw me out of my hometime again. I just sent off another message to my DM. I can't wait to hear what he says."

He goes in to pay, then he's in his truck for a few minutes. When he pulls out, I see the Qualcomm come FLYING out the passenger window. As he makes his left turn away from the pumps, the qualcomm swings way out, like a tetherball, just flying in the wind.

The kid I'm training barely looks up. "I guess he got bad news."

I still laugh out loud every time I see a Swifty typing into a Qualcomm.

 

wow how things can turn. Just got a new driving job. dedicated run out for 5 home for 2 and still running refeer. oh .34 a mile.

 

Can I ask where?? We live in Sacramento...

 

That's gotta be one of the funniest stories I've heard in quite some time related to trucking...

 

Got a question. When Central sends you home, do you give them a physical address. Cause where I live I won't be able to park my truck in front of my house, I'll have to leave it over by the airport, so I'm just curious how things work when it comes to heading home.
