Yes plenty to choose from in those areas. California can get a little tricky if your trying to stay local but is still very doable. A lot of CA freight goes to OR an AZ high paying loads going out but really cheap coming back. If you have more questions I can try and help just send me a PM. I'm active choice driver.sica1983 Thanks this.

I am seeing more and more Schneider Choice drivers parked where I am out of. What happens if Schneider hires or has hired to many Choice drivers? I for one know they have hired way too many company drivers for this dedicated job I am on this Month. Me and other drivers miles and loads have dropped way down with them trying to keep everyone running.

I've heard that same grumbling ever since I started driving. "They hired too many drivers." Wrong. Freight is cyclical not static.

They are basically one in the same. Independent Contractor (IC) is term Schneider seems to prefer, we out here seem call our self's Owner Operators. Although I do believe on SNI job board we are referred to as Owner/Op. All the same ...

Look if you like cheap freight and High cost of lease... Schneider is for you. They don't want you to make enough money to branch out on your own .think about it ,If you make ( Ok ) money they think you will lease again ,and again .But I need more ...35 percent is crazy that is over 1/3 of the freight ,that leaves less than 2/3 to pay all the bills of the truck, fuel, home bills, and try to eat . it is such a shoe string deal, I am handing in my truck with them today. I could go on about other things bad about the reality of this Co. But for now ,Just know if you are not willing to live in the truck ,And take all the BS they dish out. then stay away IMO

Would be interested to know what avg cpm you were picking on your freight? How much were you making each week after all deductions? Anything else you care to share would be helpful. Thanks.
