    Cross over lines became illigal on trucks approx. 13 years ago. Too many got tore off leaving a haxmat mess of diesel.

    I looked in the FMCS rule book before I did it and in section 393.67F that covers fuel lines it doesn't say anything about crossover lines being illegal after any particular year, just that they can't be more than 2" below the tank and must be protected from damage.
