wow! Couldn't have quoted their propaganda better if you were reading it right from the brochure.

By that rationale, we wouldn't need lawyers to protect innocent people.

Do you know if the camera resets if the cable is unplugged?

I don't think so but we get an alert that the camera has lost power. Actually it does not reset as we have retrieved previously recorded clips and even one of the person unplugging the camera.

This isn't a tool to 'coach' drivers to be safer, etc., this is a tool to relieve liability from Millis if the driver wasn't doing everything exactly right. Anything, really, can qualify as not right. One hand on the wheel, drinking coffee, listening to loud music, and so on. Not much different from law enforcement liability. If a cop is doing things right by policy when he/she shoots someone, the agency will defend him/her. If policy isn't being followed, the cop can be cut loose (i.e., it wasn't the agency's fault the cop wasn't following policy). Same deal with driving. If the driver isn't perfectly following policy, Millis will say it wasn't their fault the driver was acting outside the scope of his responsibilities. All about lightening the liability load for Millis.
