That's exactly what prime does to. Pays . 38 plus a nickel for a skinny truck, and another nickel for northeast regional. They will make company drivers run nothing but NE for 3 weeks straight and average 1500 miles. Smaller company's are about . 37 a mile but will give longer runs so you can stretch your legs, and get the miles, and then stick a mileage and/ or fuel bonus on top of it.

I'm parked next to a Gordon with a heartland trailer. Just doesn't seem to match up.

First of all you will not make .51 cpm with heartland... that is only on miles east of I81 and north of Virginia. .
they also pay short miles... the reality is their pay is below average and this has been discussed many times..zentrucking Thanks this. -
