Okay, so i just hired my first driver and having a hard time figuring out how to pay him. I want to give him a check each week or direct deposit and hold his taxes, what are some ways you guys with drivers are paying, and what software are you using?

Seems to me that you should have thought this thru BEFORE hiring this driver. Please don't screw this person over.
Sublime Thanks this. -

If you get a good accountant most will take care of that for you mine would come get my books every week on thursday and bring them back Friday with a stub showing what taxes were withheld and total to the driver. They would also show me what was owed every quarter I'd right them a check and they would pay everything. I was paying $125 a month and had five employees.

I would do that but my accountants are ATBS out in CO im in PA

ATBS does trucking taxes ....I'm sure they don't do payroll taxes most places like that won't.
how are you keeping up with your numbers now? I use quickBooks for payroll now not for books just payroll but you need to find out who you need to send the money to -
Start looking for local payroll services. Its easier to pay them to set the withholding taxes up for you.
