Anytime there is animal parts involved there will be rodents and parasites no way around it. What I won't do is eat meat that is grown or packaged another country. What they are allowed to feed there animals is less restricted and helps spread diseases that I don't want. How its packaged there might shock you as well. Processing of the barn yard pimp is one of the worst. I used to haul blood meal out of a chicken plant in Batesville, was offered the dime tour several times I declined.

There's a chicken feed place we go they'll reject the load then we go back to the grain elevator they rewrite the ticket and we go back and it gets accepted.

Several years ago every body over in the bottoms had alpha toxin in there corn. I can't remember if it was pilgrims pride then or peco but they would reject it. Like you said we would take it home put a another tractor under it and they would take it.

That blood meal is some NASTY NASTY crap. I don't blame you for declining the tour of the plant, and when the loader dumps that junk it goes EVERYWHERE. It literally ATE into the stainless breathers on our 06, and there's still a decent amount in the cab behind the dash. I've seen blood meal take the paint off a truck before. What they put in that crap I have no clue, and if it settles and gets hard in the trailer it'll take a pick axe to get it out. That's some crap I hope I never have to deal with. When a foam brush takes the paint off a truck when your washing it because the dust was left on the paint it screams never again.
