Anyone work for/have any info on Locomote(LSI)?

    Just wondering if any of you boys got any info or have worked for Locomote Systems from Milton, ON? Always see the trucks up and down the HWY around here and been thinking of applying for Canada only runs..

    I've heard some bad things in the past years about them but wanted to get some first hand words on them?

    Judging by their recruitment attempts on trucker tv they are in need of people. Also notice they have a 2 year requirement, pretty sure it was 5 before.
    Dont know anyone working there though. Try asking on the cb when you see one of their trucks.

    I applied and was offered a job there a few years ago. They run a lot to the Soo and Montreal. At the time they were paying like #####. $0.37 cpm. Which is terrible for multi axle steel. In 08 I was making $0.50 a mile at LA Dalton. Plus the manager at the time was an arrogant ###. Constantly tracked. And you need a place to park the truck. their yard in Milton maybe fits 5 units in it.

    I didnt realize they had GPS tracking on their units. Never paid that much attention to them. I'm up north(4 hours from Soo) and have room to park truck but not trailer at my house so I guess that's out of question too haha. I've heard from a few other drivers that they like to go go go and used to run a few log books lol

    I have heard mixed reviews, I believe all place have good and bad, it's also what you make it and how much you are willing to take from the start.
