    In Texas and I know you're in NC but you pay for your temps which is $73. Then you can take all your tests air brake, general knowledge, pre trip, tanks, and doubles it is all included but if you take the bare minimum ( air brake, general knowledge, pretrip, and combination) then take your road test you would have to pay $11 each for tanker and doubles. Basically take them all before your road tests it's included or wait for after your road tests it's $11 bucks each. Texas will not let you do any hazmat test, finger print, etc till you take and pass your road test. Hazmat is 98ish dollars. I'm not sure how much this helps you in NC but I took every test they would give me.

    NH is the same way Army.... you have to hold a current cdl to take the hazmat . Permit card holders need not apply
