TDI Dallas

In March I am planning to attend TDI in Dallas. I have searched the forum for threads on TDI. I have found a few but none on the Dallas location. I have chose TDI do to the low out of pocket cost. My credit is not that good and I can not cough up a huge down payment that others schools want me to pay. Im pretty much set on going to this school, I just want to hear from others who have been here. I really dont care if the hotel is small....Im there to learn. Really all I care about is getting proper instruction. So if anyone has been through TDI in Dallas please share your comments! Thanks!

 

$200 for 3 weeks at hotel
$100 for DOT drug test/physical
$100 for CDL test
$25 for backround check
I will be coming from CA so I have to factor in bus ticket ($150)

They have in house finance. BUT know that they do have contracts with alot of the major mega carriers starter companies out there. People will say stay away from them. If you dont have the money up front to pay for your schooling all at once or dont have money to pay for a down payment....then TDI seems like a sweet deal. Yes most likely you will sign on with a low paying starter company...but oh well....put up with the low pay....payback your loan and keep trucking.

 

Ah....good point! I plan to do so! Get rid of the loan as fast as possible!
