What's all that white stuff? Trans Am Door was open because he had some of Cargil's finest and they were going to put a couple cases of steaks on the fire :)

I went across 70 Thursday and while stopped behind a wreck for two hours, we never once seen a plow on the other side of the highway. That's why I quit buying my fuel in that crazy state, outrageous fuel tax and its obvious its not going into maintaining the roads. I'd just assume stay out completely but I love getting the forklift loads out of Columbus.

I got to say, Indiana ranks on the bottom for cleaning the highways in the winter.

I wonder how many of those involved in that wreck, or any weather related one, are ones that say they know how to drive in those conditions?

If you know that there are the "idiots" that aren't as skilled as you sharing same piece of snow covered ill maintained highway, aren't your odds of being involved in a wreck increased?
If so, your relying on others inability, than your ability.

    Ladies and gentlemen,

Interstate 65 has been the WORST Interstate for over 10 years now

    Why,,Right?

Real simple.......Interstate 65 from Gary,In all the way down to the gulf coast is a 'Free' interstate

Mega-Carriers...Independent Carriers///Small Fleets ALL Book freight From the Chicagoiland area Going that direction FIRST before going east.
These Drivers and Carriers Get Goosebumps for traveling 65.......Its a prioritized Lane!

This Highway is just a disaster........Too Many Inexperienced Truckers....College Students and Soccer moms from Crown point cause Devastation DAILY...Yes I said DAILY on interstate 65

I personally do not feel safe traveling that highway.......and its been a very long time since its been safe...

Honestly..I would rather travel Interstate 95......From Providence down To Richmond, As opposed to I-65

That's what I always tell people when they tell me to be careful when driving in the snow. Its not my driving I worry about, its the others that worry me. Too many drivers that have never seen snow and still think they can run 100 on it. I know I've seen more smashed guardrail this winter than I have in my whole ten years of driving. Sometimes I think it would be better to take the back roads.

Indiana sucks at plowing which makes no sense since we get snow every year.. reminds me of Florida drivers in the rain. oh man its raining.. better turn on my blinkers and slow to 45 in the slow lane of the freeway.

then again when the local snow plows in town push the snow to the side the cars are parked on instead of the completely open side here in my town it shouldn't be surprising that the roads suck.
