Not sure if idling the truck for three nights when we had high temps in the negative numbers a few weeks ago has anything to do with it.
But the last few days my Volvo has been chugging under acceleration from about 40mph to 50mph. It is not noticable when bob tailing, only under load and even more when accelerating uphill.
Another driver is having the same issue.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Truck is not happy. Acceleration is chugging in 9th gear....

Better get some anti-gel in it, if it's losing power like that, it's either gelling or your filters are plugged.
-
Which filters?
If it is gell-ing why would it only be in a certain speed range?

take your foot off the brake while driving

Might be a bad injector. Is it a D13?
-
Yes it is.

I'd have it hooked up to a Volvo diagnostics computer and run an injector test to see if any of them are bad.Pmracing Thanks this.

Put a clear fuel line on the return down by the filter base on the driver side its one of the black quick disconnect that gos back to the tank , its the one that has a small line that go, s to a fitting then it turns into a larger black line , you will most likely see some air in the fuel system , now there was some injectors that were letting air into the head from the tip and the fix is replace all injectors with the updated ones they come with warranty for 2 years
Pmracing Thanks this. -
I am a company driver. I will do as much repair as I can to keep rolling, and keep from sitting in the TA or Volvo dealer lounge. But that procedure might be above my pay grade. Hehehehee
Packrattdi I will find time to break the news to dispatch that I need to get it to a Volvo dealer for that test.
