that is good to know about the internet while on the road. is there wifi available if your parked at the dc?

 

that would be nice

 

Wifi at the DC for drivers is something that has been discussed before (cuz I asked about it recently) and is 'being considered'. Would be nice.

 

I'm going to a grass roots meeting today . I'll throw the wifi out there and see what happens .. I agree it would be nice to have!

 

Some perishables DCs have free wifi in the qa office for use by vendors or usda inspectors. Or kind of anyone..

 

Orientation for Alachua FL DC Monday excited to take this step but still a little nervous. Hard leaving my previous company Firestone/Bridgestone.

 

ya I feel the same way its a pretty nerve wracking experience. I have my road test wed at 8am. if everything goes well it will be hard leaving my employer after 13 years too.alot of good people where I work , ive also made a lot of friends over the years on my route.

 

Yeah I had a hard time yesterday bunch of great guys top in the seniority but I have a good friend I worked with at another job and he tells me all the time he loves working at Walmart and he says your not going to believe how your treated... so I took the leap of faith I guess you would call it so here goes both feet in now....

 

well good luck im sure it will all work out. im going all in too if I pass the road test, better im heading all the way down to sealy to take it. gonna be a 500 dollar road test ill be pretty disappointed if I walk away with nothing .
