Headed out today after my reset . Loading a Hazmat Load around Griffith , IN and headed up to Regina , SK .

    Paid Empty Miles = 401
PC Miler says it's only 395 to shipper

    Loaded Paid Miles = 1193
    PC Miler says it's 1194

so almost off the Hub you can't beat that . I'll get 0.08 extra on this load cause it's a international Hazmat ( cross Canada border ) and I'll also get my border cross pay of $30.00 to say high to the Border Patrol folks for 5 minutes or so .. Unless I get real lucky .. Lol and get to hang out a hour :)
normally real quick to cross though .

Load delivers Monday so I won't be setting the world on fire for miles this week but .. I deliver on Payroll end so won't be but 4 days to get my money on the load either :) .. I'll get a good week next week I predict around 2600 or so but also just came off a great week of 3,500 plus miles before my reset .

    jlind Thanks this.

Got my load picked up today on time as always . Hard dock to hit . It was a blind side back up into one of those old style docks that are about as wide as your trailer .. :) you know the ones with walls on each side of it that were built for 96 wide trailers when that seemed wide .. Lol

any how got my 17 skids 37,000#'s and headed to deliver . Took about 1.5 hrs to load no big deal . Should be a fun journey as the snow is starting to come down in places .

Nothing to report today just running miles . Stopped by the TA in Rogers MN and had them pull my Turbo 3000d off my truck . A $250.00 paper weight which I actually think restricted my fuel flow because with it I was at 6.3 -6.4 and pulled it off and jumped up to 6.9 . So pulling it off was money saved in the long run even though TA charged me $65.00 to do it :)

    Another day trucking :)
encountered lots of blowing snow and a -43 windchill in ND . Made it down to Osseo Wi to camp out for the night .. Heat wave here it's only -5 with wind chill of -17 . I may get out my Lounge Chair and sit in front of the truck and get a tan . -17 is a huge difference from -43 let me tell ya . But it's still cold how ever you want to slice it .

Still on my same load , should make KY tomorrow ..

Polar Vortex 2.0 they are calling this cold front ..

Our new van Trailers and the ones from last years crop all have Disc Brakes . Makes a big difference they are not near as ap to freeze as Drum Brake Systems .

This batch of 30 have the Air Tray under them , I'm told the next batch of 20-30 will have full skirts on them . All have air slide tandems which I like also .

Got my load dropped and going to do some local moves next week for a few days . I will then be on a dedicated lane from Feb 3 to around March 15 it's a good light load 31,000 # and 1040 hub miles each way . I get paid 1040 ( hub ) going and 1038.3 coming back .. Lol

cant complain on only missing 2 miles off the hub on a 2080 mile round trip .

Will keep you updated on my local runs also . I'm making a set rate per day $ 400.00 a day to go about 31 miles total not to bad considering my fuel cost be be next to nothing and I get to go home every night ..
