One day when I grow up and can afford a Scania I will give it a go.
When going on holiday to the USA I can fly to a number of European cities stay in a 5 star hotel for a week pay for meals sight seeing, shows ,transfers, everything and then do it again on the return and I will still have change from the ticket price of a 1st class ticket vs a cattle class ticket.
That way the flight time is broken and I can almost handle it.
Of course I don't have the time and am way to cheap.
I buy used DAF trucks , I have to be cheap.
Ill leave the 1st class flying to the Scania types.

Driven 3 diffrent 620 streamline's and not found them noisy. BUT they go up in the sky when you climb out and you can't lower them enough. Even with the seat in the lowest position with air it's way to high for my taste. Like the older seats more. But the armrest is much better on the new seat!

Don't know if there are any different models to the seats, been leather seats with scania griffin on them. Not that in to spec :)

    Edit:
On other note the new touch screen radio is nice! but the navi app is just crap!

Not many places to get them fixed over here and the breakdowns are very pricey.

Re airline seats, I really think they need to change them. For short flights, they are somewhat o.k. But, as mentioned, longer flights are torture. I think the testers must be drugged because the seats are pretty uncomfortable. No real lumbar support. Not to mention, 6'0'' or taller, you need to sit near the emergency exit, but, you give up the ability to recline. never sit in the first row behind first class. Holy crushed legs.

Back to truck seats, I shopped with my wife for a truck and I can tell you we've seen many used and abused
seats. I can only think this is because of people getting in and out of the tuck numerous times. Weight of the driver and the width of ones rear end does contribute to a bad seat. Funny, I think I can tell the difference when a women has sat in a seat then a guy. Without going into details, The seat just feels different.

The edge of a cabover seat is more prone to wear cos drivers tend to slide off it down to the first step while in a conventional you walk up or down the steps and sit as normal cos the climb isn't as high or as vertical, you also see low euro cabover delivery trucks don't suffer as bad as high cabs
