Morehead (that's what he said) KY. Fam$ AM appt. Did anyone get snow pay? I sat from Sun 1430 to Tue 1230 in Effingham on ice so shouldn't I get at least a 1/2 day? Not in my check...and I put it on trip sheet.

 

Just to be clear, I didn't come crawling back. They posted an opportunity that I was interested in and they hired me.

I sometimes make fun of things like one square of toilet paper at a time, a minor grievance. Or multiple fuel stops in a day, a bigger grievance. But I'm not angry. It's good to vent a little, especially about the petty stuff that isn't going to change.

As far as safety goes, I haven't made a firm opinion yet.

 

I wasn't singling anybody out when I made my post. Certainly wasn't trying to offend anyone. Just my 2 cents.

 

Flying J I-77 Virginia. Can already tell a huge temp difference and it sucks. Headed to Van Buren, OH back into the bitter cold. Sighhh

 

It's pretty cold up here in PA. I get to go up to NY next. Oh joy of joys.

 

Heard about the massive crash on I-94. Sounds really bad.

 

Anybody else get the message about not using auto-start unless it was below zero degrees?

I'd delete that message and pretend it never came. If the truck has it I'm using it or going elsewhere. APU or EPU with auto-start should be on every OTR truck IMO.
