Yes, you list that time as "student."

thanks for the info. cause im getting ready to go to school for 2 years but I also have a CDL-A. I didn't know if they would allow it as work history.
-
Why are you going to 2 years of school then trucking?
tow614 Thanks this. -
It counts but you probably will need a refresher course to get hired.
-
im going to school for diesel mechanic and no company will take me cause they don't take staffing agency as work history
-
Yes.
A CDL means nothing without recent CDL experience or schooling. -
I do need to take a refresher cause its been since 2010 is when I got my CDL-A
-
if you worked for the staffing agency they will count that as experience. going to school will not count as driving experience or work experience. it will count as training, or as mentioned above student.
when you fill out the app you need to write what your employment was for the staffing agency. list agency name, where assigned for actual work, manager name etc. if they say they don't count it then they are looking for omeone with more "permanent" work exp. are you bouncing around a lot with the agency? that would scare some companies away. -
Are you looking for the trucking company to hire you as a driver or mechanic after the 2 years of school ?
