Ok I took a crude hauler job with a major ....so far so good. I do have a few questions for fellow crude haulers tho.......

Do you have to sample the tanks and run BS&W ? Gravity and temp ?

Do you get paid if there's no oil at lease? How much?

How much did you get paid during training?

    How long did you train?

    Thanks....

My answers are in blue, and these are all questions that should have already been answered by the company.

    Thanks,

Sounds like my deal and that's what i was checking....... and the questions were partially answered or ducked......but they are from a motor carrier, and i don't trust motor carriers.....any of them.

Been lied to too many times......

I can tackle those with ND answers.

    Yes.
Yes, the no-load fee is usually one hour. Some charge the producer for time from leaving the yard or the lact (to get here) until arriving at the next well on your list.
Big companies pay about $15/hr for training. Small o/o pay from nothing to $15/hr until you are out on your own.
I trained on water for a week because I was green. I had never driven a tanker. I had never driven on a lease road. I had never hooked up a trailer hose.
Later, I trained on oil for another week. Half of that learning was all paperwork.

    chalupa Thanks this.
