What's truly hilarious is the amount of local companies getting busted there. That spot is like shooting fish in a barrel for the LEOs.

 

Remember that Mn. says you must flag every 20' if overwidth. They busted my balls on a mty. 9'w trl..
You can also run at night if you have reflective signs or the signs are lighted.
Also check on the top right side for hours of travel allowed...

Ummm, NO West Fargo scale at 341 mile marker. No scale till you hit Wibaux, MT. Unless during nicer weather, the rest area's will be used for truck inspections.

 

No scale at 248. Don't know what you are looking at there, just a tank farm.

 

There is a scale house west of Fargo. I haven't seen it open since early fall/late summer. It usually is not open in winter. The rest area west of Jamestown (wb) doubles as a scale often when the weather is warmer, same with eb and wb rest areas east of Bismarck. ND also sets up on US 2 in Devils Lake and pulls you into the state maintenance yard.

 

It was open this morning with a truck out back....

 

It seems like they open it bring a couple trucks in close it then open it and bring a couple more in when they are done with the others.

They really hammered the 1 ton trucks this summer at those rest stops. I went through and they were waving big trucks by and bringing in the pickups.
