Well my husband just started working for them. Did 3 days of orintation then they paid for rental car and had to drive to duncan sc then to lexington nc and was stuck there for 3 days! Computer don't work so has paper logs. And then was told lastnight to go to salisbury nc to pickup a empty trailer but guess what?? There were none! They had him sitting for over 8 hrs and then told him to go to a truck stop and there he sits still! So don't work for armold!

Sounds like the same story with a lot of major carriers... Plus anyone with a lick of common sense knows not to trust the GPS explicitly. That machine's blathering as you go down the road should be construed as nothing more than ADVICE. You sometimes get good advice, sometimes you get bad advice. Thoroughly trip planning in advance helps to avoid GPS mishaps. The big carriers have large enough fleets that they don't have to care about their drivers if they don't want to because there will always be a line of seat meat waiting for their turn behind the wheel.

Easy solution here.....use an atlas.

they have prostars and peterbuilts petes are 8speed prostars are autos they bought out linkamerica and if you drive for them you will most likely get an 8 year old century auto with super singles, they are link america trucks they will tell you that they dont have trucks older than 3 years old but they tried to give me an 8 year old truck and i turned down their driving job offer you can do that you do know that without any reprocussions on your dacs

you will get miles if you dont tell any mechanic how to fix or what to fix i told them i cant slide my fifth wheel they said they put grease on it and slid it under 5 trailer and said it works great then i had to fix it myself if you can get a truck that does not break down every 500 miles you will get plenty of miles but you better cross your fingers and pray like heck because they dont autherise at rush to get their trucks fixed they tell them to reset the fault so you can drive another 500 miles and break down with same problem regen
