Where is everyone #2!!

Load to WI fell through so still here @ the Petro. Still looking for something shaking east, Saw some loads headed to SoCal but my truck is no good as of Jan 1st

 

Well, apparently things were much worse than I thought last night. I ran up on a pickup truck and a 4 on the Loop last night. I stepped left to pass the pickup, and I noticed some big yellow sign on the pickup and all of a sudden, the 4 wheeler put his blues on. Uhoh. I backed out of it and apparently, they were making everyone run school zone speeds and exiting at every bridge. Great...might as well forget about eating at Frog City.

I dont know why they do it, but I sure as heck don't think it's safe to bunch all the traffic together. But what can you do when they shut the roads down?

 

was that on thurs morning? I was passing the t/a there when a big load was heading up the ramp. probably around 10 or 11?

 

I stopped in Beaumont at he petro thrus about 6. got up this morning and the bridge at exit 848 was closed as were several others headed to Baytown. ended up sitting here , got a drop in bytown and one in Alvin and pick up bins in Houston Monday. just puts me a bit later loading Monday , I got 2 mowers for one Kubota dealer and a baby backhoe for the other, they both said no to taking them on Saturday.

oh well , I will move to Baytown tommorrow

 

Holiday Inn Express in Santa Nella, CA. Going to wonder over to the restruant across the street and get me some adult beverages.... i need it.
