DO NOT do a fleece purchase with any company .... THEY will make money .... you wont
-
I second that.....
I have done two lease programs.. Both was a total disaster and I though I has done my homework after the first one..
Never go into a contract where you have to pay for everything and your income is limited to the company you are leasing from..
That company can make you or break you and you can't do anything about it.. Look at O/O right now, they are falling right and left and they have the option to pull any freight for any company.. That alone should tell you something...
I will be posting later on my last lease experience.. just found out today they burned me again on my DAC.. LEASE ARE BAD, STAY AWAY, IT IS A SCAMtrucker43 Thanks this. -
Slow down! Not trying to Fleece on with anyone. Trying to get some info on different places that lease trucks to drivers. NOT trucking companies leasing trucks. Should have been more specific. Been out here to long to make that mistake.
This is to anyone who has dealt with them or any other truck leasing arrangement that wasn't leasing a company truck.trucker43 Thanks this. -
Are you talking about the places in the books that say "Lease to anyone - no credit" .... etc????
If so .... DONT DO IT .... they are just as bad as the fleece companies .... if you can not get a bank note from a real bank or pay for the truck outta pocket .... dont do it
If its a dealer that has a finance company check into their prices and all that first .... but the ones that advertise "lease a truck here" .... stay away

Ok i just went to there web site and looked at it. It is a lot like a program i was involved in when i first got into the O/O side of the house. It can work for you but you better be ready to work your tail off. The way these things work if its the same as the one i was involved with. Is they lease the truck to a carrier and the carrier pays them direct then they take there money out of each settlement then you get what's left. So lets say you have a bad week and you barely make your payment and expenses and there is none left your due nothing you get nothing. So it is a way to get started but the trucks they have in inventory are going to be wore out by the time you get it payed for so you are going to be left with a wore out truck and have to start over again once your done with them. My advise is stay away from these places. Save your money for a down payment and to the out right purchase of your own truck. Or check out freightliners first time buyer program its not the best but for 1000 down you can get a decent truck that will make you some money.

I did the lease with TDLP and fell 2 weeks down due to being in the hospital, And they picked my truck up without warning of any kind. I've known the owner for 20 plus years and thought he would never stoop this low.
