I'm thinking about booking a load to Mechanicsburg, PA. How are the roads up 81?

Doubt that was me, haven't been up and rolling that early the past few days.

I could give you those numbers but they wouldn't mean a thing. Honestly, I'm not trying to be an ###. There are so many variables that go into each individual drivers net profit that its a useless number to use as a means of reference or comparison. I'm working on some better numbers info though that I'll be posing up soon, these will be of MUCH more use to you in making your decision.

Been running nothing but up 81 and back down turnpike to 15 to 270 to 95 for the past EIGHT loads, lol, haven't had any problems even in the snowstorm a few days ago. I'd been hearing about snow today and tomorrow, but I think its just flurries. Was smooth sailing headed south today but I wasn't on 81 for most of that trip, just a little further east.

Got shafted bigtime by customer service today. I delivered and picked up this morning and got back to the OC. Called in to see about delivering early in NC since no one responded to my Qualcomm message, and to get my trailer assigned to me because when I came in the gate at Carlisle they said it wasn't. Turns out she used the wrong truck number. Anyway, got told it was OK to deliver early, so I headed south.

50 miles into my trip south, I get a message from an ICA/ICR/whatever the correct term is for the "choice DBL" saying that she got a second message from CS saying the customer was closed on weekends. Are you ******** kidding me? Great. Too late to turn around and go back to the OC. Now I'm just stuck sitting at this frickin truckstop 35 miles from the delivery, 100 miles from HOME, until Monday. The hours on the workflow say open 24/7, my appointment is a 24/7 drop on Monday, but when I called the number we have listed for the customer on the workflow, they had different hours listed.

Had I been told this information THE FIRST TIME, I've would've happily stayed in Carlisle for a reset, got my quarterly inspection done, got my power to trailer wiring done, sat around and played video games on my laptop, NO PROBLEM.

Instead, I'll spend it sitting here, close to home, but not close enough, either taking a reset, or sitting for about 28 hours, then delivering at midnight, THEN going home for a reset, which is a complete waste of my time.

    Bite me, customer service.

    Grijon and Chopper1776 Thank this.

That is so sad that being only 100 miles away, profit margin doesn't allow a detour home. Speaks volumes of the profit margin and may provide stingdar a hint of his question.

35 more miles to the delivery, then 100 miles to home, thats 135 miles to the house then 100 miles back to the delivery, thats 235 miles extra... that'd have to be a #### good paying load to make that worth it LOL.

There has to be or needs to be an office that deals with complaints of this nature. HAving no info or misinfo is detrimental to good service and happy employees.

I might suggest an email to mr Lofgren directly.
