Well im heading out next week cuz no body seems to have the time to talk on the phone or respond to emails from a guy whos not near them. Hard to get past reception with a majority of them, I hope its not like that when standing in there offices!

Hi 54gmc. Standing in the offices will help. Do so wearing safety boots with 8 inch uppers. Business-like attire, clean & fresh. Showered & shaved, well rested. With a month's supply of clothing & toiletries, ready to settle into the community.
freedom4me Thanks this. -
Anyone know what Pepsi in Edmonton pays?

2 bottles of Coca Cola an hour!

2L or 355ml?

Just wondering, what companies in the Alberta oil fields will offer all of these to a relatively inexperienced driver?... a high rate of pay, paid (and safe) accommodations and the occasional flight home? If there are no companies that can offer this, which ones are worthy of looking into? Thanks a bunch.

On the well servicing side of things....
Calfrac - have a transport division and haul some bulk. They offer a rotation package. 21/14 usually with paid travel.
Canyon - just been hiring class 1 drivers in GP and Fort St John. pass a driver eval and the job is yours, basically. Not sure if they offer rotation.
Sanjel - not sure what they are hiring for but I'm sure some bulk driving jobs would open up. Check online or call HR. I'm sure they offer rotation, 21/14 options?
Baker Hughes - same. Big company, always hiring. See what they have advertised online. May be rotational on the transport/bulk side.
Trican and Step - 15/6 no rotation but seem to hire quite a lot of new drivers, to go into training on pump work (and frac, for Trican).
Fort Mac maybe - but seems harder to get the camp/rotation jobs there as they are trying to hire locals or get you to move there.
Good luck, put your feelers out, call recruiters, email, and scan all the websites and join the company Facebook pages to see what is happening.
And report back, let us know what's happening. Always nice to hear success stories.Last edited: Feb 2, 2014
