They were $260 if memory serves me right plus tax(Canadian). Most expensive pair of boots i've ever purchased so we will see how long they last and stay comfortable!!

Holy Molly... ha ha
That's quite a lot of money... Please let us know...
I have a cheap one from KMart, I shared the link here earlier. Its being good so far...Not so comfortable, but its good for the price. -
I bought a cheap pair of work boots for my very first pair when I was 15-16 and I will NEVER again buy a cheap pair. They fell apart within a few weeks, several pair. I have used many of pairs of boots from 130-200 bucks and they all lasted a fair amount but the compfort in these sold me on the price.
I run a lot of LTL so I'm in/out of the truck so I gotta drive with them on quite a bit so want something that comfortable and not too combersome like my last pair as well. -
How is thee boot treating you so far?
Also, does anyone have any idea about insulated boots vs non-insulated boots for the summer? Do they get your feet too hot? Any preferences in that area?
Thanks! -

I picked out a pair of Justin Wyoming work boots. Waterproof, steel toe, high topped. I was planning for the worst when I chose them, which is to say 6" of mud/water in the cold. After two months, they're worn in very well and only showing minor signs of wear. They're pull-on boots so they're easy to get on and off. After breaking them in, I just wear them all the time now, don't even touch my tennis shoes anymore. They're very comfortable. If it's cold, a pair of thick insulated socks fits just as well in them as ankle socks when it's warmer. It's a bit less grippy than I'd like on sheets of ice, but if you can find me a boot that grips on ice, I'll be wearing them next week. They don't slide on PVC, the deck of the trailer, tarps or anything else (besides ice) that I've walked over thus far and I haven't felt so much as a single drop of water on my delicate trotters, even in huge puddles. I'll wear them til I do feel water.

Ive been considering pull-on or regular laces. Not really sure which, and I've been considering composite toe over steel toe. I'm looking to spend more money than I should on boots. Logger boots have caught my eye though.

I looked at a few pair of slip on and they were a PITA with my fat EE foot!!

Hi MacNeil,
I have a twelve wide foot and have had great luck with timberland PRO wellingtons (slip on). Extremely comfortable, long lasting, a couple few styles to choose from. I would look on timberlands web site find what you like, then check amazon and sites like that to see where you can get the best deal. If you try them I hope this was good advice.

The Justin work boots come in EE - I would know, I needed them. They fit my fat feet really well!
