And Get a MacBook. My last Mac lasted 7 years, still works, one of my sons still uses it in H/S. Apple products are easier to use. Rarely crash. Are trully a "push this button stupid" technology. Can now run your PC Microsoft Junk. (the darkside) Takes the beating this old Peterbilt dishes out. Yeah they cost more, but are worth it. Im not a big tech head, dont like dinking around with technology. The Mac is low maint. Never but Never had a virus. i have never used any virus protection on any of my Macs. I do have one Home desktop top AMD64 PC # 2.8 MHZ. Its a shadow in performance to my older G4 Tower. enuff said Thanx

What u still doing up. I'm stuck in Huntsville TX at a POS Pilot! Typing this out on my MacBook. I hope u r comparing the Edsel with PC's, cuz Apple Macs and their related technology r outpacing PC in sales.

I like my PC laptop. Sure it's a little cumbersome, but you can't beat the surround sound on this machine.

Heh, I like Apples. My second computer was an Apple but back in those days, Apples were proprietary and most software was written for the PC. Apple isn't really Apple any more since they don't use Motorola processors anymore.

The first time I ever did anything on a computer was back in 1986. I was in the 6th grade. The machine?

    And your point???

Mine has hit the floor many times.

It's an HP with WinBlows. I see no need to buy a new laptop...cuz you've had yours 7 years. Especially since you haven't told me how many times yours has hit the floor at speed.

I was there about a month ago. How many times have you heard someone ask on the CB, how do you get in this pilot?:biggrin_25523:

What......please post the link to your sales figures from Apple. Apple / MAC make up less than 7% of all computer sales.

OS-X has been proven to be able to get a virus.

Why would you write virus for such a small market share?

He was actually telling the truth there. BUT... you had to read it all. He included everything Apple. I-pods, I-phones, I-tunes, etc

The most recent run of viruses, HAVE been written for Apple. Just not the PC side. It's really sux to have a $400 POS cell phone with a cold or flu now days LOL

I can live without a REQUIRED data service provider to activate my cell phone.
