I team drive so I only see the fuel islands and when we do park, its only for an hour or so to shower. Even before it never bothered me unless the truck beside me was a weed burner, then I'd have to move.
Do you mind other drivers idling next you at the truck stop

I don't care this Cats gonna idle all night pretty much no matter what the weather is. It's gonna be at 1100 all night and I won't even hear you unless your fan engages every 20 minutes and I hear SQEEEEEEEEEREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLL when it kicks in.
wore out, Giggles the Original and omg-downshift! Thank this. -
someone mentioned it above. those darn malfunctioning air driers popping off like every 30-45 seconds. that's annoying. the refers these days are dreamy. it's the ones from days of old that we're encased in metal and rattled all night. some of those were horrible.

Air dryers don't bother me, the one time I pulled a reefer it was loudest unit there ever was, you'd thought it was gonna blow up all the time. But nowadays I can pull in next to anybody and sleep like a baby.

Personally, I prefer to drive at night and sleep during the day. So I idle during the day when there are very few others around. But that is just me, SUPERTRUCKER.

Idle.
Ain't no time for that... -
I don't care usually. Hey a driver has to be comfortable. I do get perturbed when it's 50 degrees outside and a nice gentle breeze is going on by and some yahoo has his truck idling at 1500 with the engine fan kicking on every two minutes right next to me though.....

Giggles the Original Thanks this.

It's a truck stop; trucks park there. Some idle, some don't.
Seems like a troll question. It's like going to Michigan and then asking if it bothers you because so many Yankees live there.tow614, joseph1135, RVTransporter and 5 others Thank this. -
I don't care any more, stopped parking at truck stops. Too accident prone, too much noise and crime
