Hi Ezrider, How's this inflation system going for you ? I own few trailers and looking into system like this , i'm debating between crossfire system or this kind of automatic inflation system.
The only thing i'm trying to figure out with Automatic Inflation system is IF one tire has small leak how will i know since it'll keep pumping air into the tires there seems to be no indicator with crossfire system i'll know because it'll change color which means some kind of small problem could be small nail or stem valve leaking... -
There is a light on the trailer anytime it is pumping air into a tire.
shawn_ca Thanks this. -
I have a Hendrickson tire inflation system on my walking floor. I speced it new on the trailer. I am not sure but what I would have been money better spent to simply use Crossfire or an equivalent. The trailer is 5 years old with less than 2 years actual use in the south w/o all the problems that come with living in the north. The indicator light tells me the system is almost continually adding air to a tire somewhere. I can park the trailer for weeks and not have a soft tire. I have spent hours and gallons of soap suds to no avail. I am beginning to think KISS would have been better in this situation. (FYI for those who don't know. KISS = keep it simple stupid)
