My husband is going to the school next month. Will they let me stay at the hotel with him? After he gets out of all the training will they let me ride with him some?

    mje Thanks this.

At the school? no, prob not... not unless you pay for a hotel room... but even then they might not let him stay in a hotel if they have a dorm...

Passenger rules for most companies, you cant have a passenger for the first 90days of first seat driving (after school and going into a training truck). And they will have some insurance forms for you to fill out.

Thank you. He isn't the greatest student so I was hoping to tag along to help him study in the evenings. I hope the trainers are patient. How much of the school is book work or written as opposed to hands on?

    mje Thanks this.

He will more than likely have a roommate at the hotel. As far a riding along once he gets his own truck first off he will have to have 90 days accident/incident free as a solo driver. But on top of that they family rider program at Millis has been put on hold temporarily until further notice. Our insurance carrier has decided to no longer insure riders and the company is looking for a new carrier. Schooling does have some written test but they are very easy the majority of the work is gonna be hands on practical applications. Any other questions feel free to ask.

Your lives do depend on his studying for and passing the CDL exams. This is going to be your BREAD AND BUTTER. It is no different than an electrician having to get his journeyman's license or a lawyer having to pass the bar exam.

    Good luck to your husband!

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
