Used Shaffer Cascadias

    Shaffer has 2009, 2010 and 2011 Cascadias for sale. I am seriously considering buying a couple of these. Can any Shaffer drivers tell me how they have been maintained? Are they in good condition or are they requiring a lot of repairs? What type of mpg do you get with these?

    I ran a brand new Cascadia in 2010, only for Schneider. Got 7,3 mpg, governed at 60.
    It had a few problems at first with dpf but then was quite reliable.

    As far as Schaffer I think they have oil changes only every 50000 miles. Mega carriers run their trucks till 500000, that's their business model. Why invest in something you are going to replace anyways? They can put new recaps to increase resale value and give it a wash . But we ll wait for " most valuable assets" to pitch in, lol
