    Sorry to hear that... btw
If your mum has lived in the same place for many years.. have the basement/crawlspace checked for Radon Gas... (it comes out of the ground naturally)
and causes more lung cancers than smoking.. just a thought

Rough and Ready out of Colorado.

I drive for a good friend of mine, mostly pulling a hopper bottom and flatbed locally in Colorado.

He has a blower on his truck, and when one of the sand companies around here needs extra help, we'll use his truck and pull one of their pneumatics. Black Pete, Rough and Ready on the doors, and a Praying Cowboy on the sleeper. Watch for me and I'll buy you a sandwich sometime.

P.S. During the time that Cluck was at the J here in Rock Springs, this was not me:

Black Pete: "I can hear you guys on the CB but I can't find you. Where do we load?"

Other Driver: We're here at the bottom of the overpass. You can't miss us.

Black Pete: I'm on top of the overpass now, and I don't see you.

Other Driver: Well, there's 12 of us here, but if you can't see us, look for the mile long train we're loading from.

Black Pete: I don't see any trucks, I don't see any trains. Where are you?

Other Driver: There's no way you can't see us. If you're on the overpass, you are parked right on top of us.

Black Pete: Ooops. Cop walked up and informed me that there are TWO overpasses in this town and I'm on the wrong one. Moving on...

So, if you overheard all of that the other day, that wasn't me. Nope, not me!

Yea I've seen that black Pete in town. I chuckled over that radio convo I could see that happening in Rock Springs but I wasn't there I've been sitting in casper with 5 trucks trying to service a frac that's having major problems so we've been getting 800 a day to sit at the truckstop.

Since when did I35 become one long construction zone?
I mean all the way up to Dallas and then up on 75 nothing but road destruction.
Get to the customer and they were nice and cut me some shims. Great price. 20.00

Martin, my condolences with your mom, that is hard news to take.

If I can offer any words of wisdom it would be that if cancer does take her it is unfortunate, but you know it is coming and if there is anything left unsaid between you or anything that needs fixed you still have time to do it. I know it is not much but it is something.

I made it up to Grenville, SC and emptied out just afternoon, now im over by Colombia going to spend the night here and load in the morning. Taking another oversize right back to Texas the way I just came, hopefully by now the Cajuns and Texans have a little better game plan for dealing with winter weather if there is any.
