Maybe I'll see you there. But only if I get put back on the Wausau load that I had. Had to drop that trailer in Cottage Grove and pick up a relay in Madison that delivers in Madison (14 miles total).

At consignee in Madison, WI.
Picked up relay with no paperwork or driver in sight. Pounded on side of sleeper and no answer. Night support called his phone several times and no answer. Finally after an hour and a half I got the key to his truck from the repair shop and got what I needed.
Poor fellow that drives that truck has no power and consequently no heat, so all his drink bottles have frozen. -
At Roehl terminal in Phoenix. Not sure where I am headed tomorrow, guessing mid-west. Wi. Mn. Il. In.
-
This short relay sure is a lot of effort for $5.32.
-
You do get extra short haul pay at Roehl, right?
-
I'm in Wausau now. Showed up 3 hrs early so I could get through Chicago early, and they won't take it, so chilling out in their drop yard for a couple hrs.
-
Short haul pay, plus live unload pay if live unload.DsquareD Thanks this.
-
adairsville, Ga, no I'm not going into that mess today, maybe tomorrow. maybe watch miley unplugged tonight.
-
Yes. I exaggerated a bit (sometimes I forget that it's not just family here). The $5.32 was the mileage pay only. There is $20 extra for loads under 100 miles and if that is a live unload then another $20. So really I made $45.32 for what was still a LOT of messing around.
Sorry for the confusion. -
I used to work a commission job and one day I put in 13.5 hours and made 37 dollars.... it was fantastic.
